Are there any restrictions before and after my treatment?
To help protect your skin, get the most out of your results, and prevent unnecessary risks here are a few things to note:
Must wait a minimum of 6 months after Accutane treatment
Avoid skincare products such as retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and glycolic acid for 7-10 days before and after
Avoid prolonged sun exposure for 7-10 days before and after
Avoid hot showers, baths, and saunas for 48 hours after
Avoid spray tanning and tanning beds for 7-10 days before and after
Always protect your skin with a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 30 or greater (even on cloudy days) and re-apply throughout the day
Avoid exercise and other strenuous activity for 48 hours after
Avoid picking or scratching treated area to prevent infection and scarring after
